Off to Samoa

The first case of measles in Samoa was reported on 30 September 2019 and the disease quickly spread and in November 2019, the Government of Samoa declared a national emergency due to the rising death toll and the spread of the disease.

With a lot more help from Fliway International and especially their team in Samoa, 1,000 teddies were earmarked for use in Samoa and delivered to Tupua Tamasese Measle Hospital and the National Emergency Centre.
